Classes at A Work of Heart




I will be teaching classes at this wonderful little studio, A Work of Heart in the Willow Glen area of San Jose on September 18. There will be 2 different classes. The first, we will be making this 11x14 Glamour Girl canvas which will focus on a lot of background collage techniques. The second class we will make an 8x8 wooden frame, doing a very condensed version of the same background techniques. Both are adorable and would make great gifts for the holidays.

    These are so cute! I wish you could teach a class in my area or in a nearby state. I would love to take one of your classes. Beautiful work, as always! :)

    Beautiful. I purchased your wonderful book Collage Couture and created my first 12 x 12 canvas with all of the wonderful tips and techniques from the book! Wish I could take a live workshop with you! That would be awesome!! You can see my creation here...

    Hi Julie - beautiful glamour girl. I have your book and I have to admit completely hooked!! Struggling with the mixed media backgrounds - so wish I could take one of your classes - any chance of a visit to the UK???? lol

    Julie, I wish classes like yours were offered in my area. Alas, they are not. I recently bought your book and I am looking forward to a lot of practice time. I have no experience in collage or mixed-media, so your book should be a fun adventure. I look forward to seeing your next completed canvas. You do such beautiful work.
